How I did my makeup!

Hey Guys!

I've come up with an idea to post frequent photos of my everyday make up looks, and give you guys an insight into how much I actually mix and match my make up regularly.

My mum forever complains that no singular person needs 7 foundations on the go at once, but I beg to differ! As my make up collection increases, so does my need to change my face every day. One day I could be wearing a Chanel base, and the next it would be Collection 2000. Either way, I'm definitely becoming a foundation addict!!

Just to let you know, I always clean my face in the morning and use a cleansing milk before applying my Clinique Youth Surge Moisturiser.

So the above look was created using the Collection 2000 Lasting Finish Foundation (Colour Ivory). Then I went ahead and put on Fake Up by Benefit  (Colour Light) underneath my eyes, down my nose, on my cupids bow, on my chin and then my forehead. Next I used a light covering of the Collection 2000 Pressed Powder (Colour Ivory).

After the base was done, I put a small amount of Chopper by Urban Decay, which you can find in the Naked 2 Palette, into my crease. Then I applied my L'Oreal Paris Super Liner to my upper lash line to give my eyes some definition.

While I was waiting for my eyeliner to dry and set, I applied some Benefit Speed Brow just to put my eyebrows back in place. I then applied a dark brown eyeshadow to my eyebrows to define them. The colour is unknown but it's the dark brown from the Avon True Colour Duo - Healthy Glow.

Now that my eyeliner is set, I started on my eyelashes. I have found that if I want to use eyelash curlers then I must make sure that my eyeliner isn't going to budge, that's why I give it time to dry before applying eyelash curlers. Once curled, I coated my top lashes in the primer end of the L'Oreal Double Extension Mascara. Next I used Benefit's They're Real Mascara over the top of the white primer. I find that the primer really does make my lashes appear longer. I have left my bottom lashes.

Top finish this look off, I've used the Sleek Blush By Three (Colour Lace) and ran my blush brush up and down all three colours to mix them all together, and applied this to my cheeks and up my cheek bones towards my hair line. Finally I used my one and only Kiko Bronzing Powder to contour my cheeks, chin and outline of the face.

Hope you found that helpful, and I will be back asap with a new post for you all!

Thanks for reading!

Oooh Baby!

So as a huge fan of the Baby Lips range by Maybelline (if you haven’t ever tried them go out right now and buy them!!), when they released the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, it was at the top of my shopping list! I purchased it from Boots for £7.99, and although at first I thought this was maybe a bit pricey for the amount you get, I knew I wanted it, so the price quickly went out of my mind.

Being a lover of moisturiser and not primer (they never seem to agree with me) I wasn’t sure whether I’d get on with the product, and whether in a week’s time it’d be at the bottom of my bin. How wrong I was! It reminds me of the Bare Minerals “Prime Time” Primer, but thicker, and better for my face. I use this instead of moisturiser, before applying my make up and it genuinely makes my pores appear blended and erased.

Unless you’ve got a make up setting spray, then you most likely have to re-apply or touch up your make up throughout the day. But with Baby Skin I’ve found that I don’t really touch it up unless I’m going out on a night out, in which case it all comes off and I start from scratch anyway. Sometimes I may add a bit of powder, but other than that, the Baby Skin has really helped my make up from not moving or sliding.

It feels almost like a powder once you’ve rubbed it in and makes your skin smooth and even takes a bit of shine away from problem areas. I have used this on days where I didn’t actually want to put make up on, and it almost evens out your skin tone, so I feel comfortable leaving the house with just this on product on, which is not like me at all! Whenever I left my house without make up on before I used this product, I would be worried about my skin, and what it looked like, but now, I’m not even remotely self conscious about it!

I have combination skin, and have specific oily parts of my face (my T-Zone being incredibly oily in the morning), but Baby Skin hasn’t created more oil, and I don’t feel like it’s drying my face either.

I recommend this product so so so much! Definitely worth the money, so why not go and try it! I did, and I certainly don’t regret it!

Well, Hello There!

If you're reading this, you've made an odd decision to take interest in my life, or to just read my beauty posts!

I started a YouTube channel and blog nearly 2 years ago, but had a falling out with my laptop and camera, which meant no posts or videos for nearly a year! I have now got a new career and have decided that blogging can start to make a re-appearance in my life!

So please, if you wish to listen to my ramblings about my life and specifically the beauty products I use, then please, carry on reading. If not, then you've most certainly come to the wrong place!

I'm going to keep this short, so if you want to follow my blog, then by all means, please do! I will have some more posts up for you shortly, so hold on and wait!

Lots of love
